Govt.ETEI,Patnagarh was started in the year 1973 to provide the teacher education in Patnagarh , Dist-Balangir,Odisha. It has intake capacity of 100 students every year. in the year 2018 The Govt. Secondary Training School changed to Govt.Elementary Teacher Education Institution,Patnagarh by NCET. The Institute is situated in the middle of Patnagarh NAC. The mission and vision of the institute is to provide the best and enhance education system in the field of teacher education.

Library Services

 Rules and Regulation of Library  

  • Strict Silence, Decorum and discipline must be maintained inside the Library. Use of Cell-Phone is not allowed.
  • Shoes and bags are not allowed inside the library.
  • Smoking, eating, Sleeping and taking loudly are strictly prohibited in the Library.
  • Documents taken out of the shelves is not encouraged as it may get misplaced, Misplaced book is like a lost book.
  • Reader should not mark, underling, dog-ear, white, tear pages or otherwise damage the library documents.
  • No library materials can be taken out of the library without permission of the authority. unauthorized removal of anything belonging to the library will be treated as theft and dealt accordingly.
  • Suggestions on all aspects of library services are welcome.
  • While entering to the library, you have to put your attendance in the Register.
  • Student can issue 3 books maximum for the time period of 8 days and after due date you have to submit the books.
  • A fine of 1(one ) Rupees per book will be calculated from the last day of return if failed to deposit the books within the due date.
  • Text books, Reference Books, are not for the issue. you can read them inside the Library.
  • Library card will be issued after the completion . Rupees 10 will be collected, if library card is lost or damaged for reissue.
